Christian Worldview

Teaching from a Christian worldview means we strive to teach our students to discover what is true and to live in step with that truth. Every worldview can be analyzed through a grid that answers the three most important questions in life.

Statement of Faith

The basis for the Christian worldview must of course be God’s revelation in Scripture. Believers must not adopt the false narrative of a dichotomy between science and religion, between fact and value, between objective knowledge and subjective feeling, and allow our belief system to be reduced to private feelings and experiences, separated from objective facts.

CREATION

Where did we come from and who are we?

The first question a worldview must be able to answer is that of our origins and who we are. God’s Word clearly teaches that He is the creator of the universe and all that is in it, including us. As God’ creation, we have inherent value because all are made in His image. This value forms the basis of how people should be treated, from the unborn baby to the elderly, regardless of race or color of skin.

THE FALL

What has gone wrong with the world?

Looking around, it is easy to see we live in a fallen world. Sickness, death, natural disasters, evil acts of men are very much in evidence. The Christian worldview taken from the Bible is the only explanation for what is wrong in our world. Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve chose to go their own way and this affected not only the natural world around us, but the hearts of all men.

REDEMPTION

How can the world be fixed?

The Christian worldview has the only answer for the death, evil and destruction that we see around us. The world is in need of a Savior to redeem the hearts of men, restore a right relationship with our Creator God, and right a wrong world.
